THE RESOURCE HUB – WHAT DO WE DO?Â
As the resource working group, our main aim was to build a shared, accessible, and interdisciplinary resource base to make critical policing studies more accessible. Because we come from different academic backgrounds (criminology, law, sociology, political science and many more), we realized during our first meeting in Copenhagen that we would need to share our different references and methods. Police and policing are complex objects that need to be studied using various concepts and tools, which could really allow us to present global critical perspectives. Because we thought it would be an efficient way to expand our knowledge and bring it together, we decided to create a simple tool with as few accessibility concerns as possible: a public list of relevant references on this website. In a horizontal manner, everyone can add a new research article or book. Please feel free to contact us if you want to add new ones
